1. Company law

Inovite Services Private Limited is a private company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U63114MH2025PTC439703). We keep our books of account for 8 years, as section 128 of that Act requires, and file our statutory returns.

2. Information Technology Act, 2000

We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011: we publish our Privacy Policy, protect personal data with the security practices in section 8 of it, and have a Grievance Officer who resolves complaints within 30 days.

3. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

The DPDP Act and the DPDP Rules, 2025 come into force in stages; most duties of businesses apply from 13 May 2027. We already work to them: we tell people what we collect and why, rely only on consent or the uses the Act permits, keep data only as long as section 7 of our Privacy Policy says, honour the rights in section 10 of it, and have a procedure for personal data breaches.

For guest and diner data, the business that uses Quackzo is the Data Fiduciary and we are its Data Processor (Terms & Conditions, sections 8 and 9).

4. Cyber incidents

We report cyber incidents to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) within 6 hours of noticing them, as its Directions of 28 April 2022 require, and have named a point of contact for CERT-In.

5. GST

Inovite Services Private Limited is not registered for GST at present, so our invoices carry no GST and cannot be used to claim input tax credit. If we register, our GSTIN will appear on our invoices and GST will be charged from that date.

6. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. We never see or store full card numbers or bank passwords. During early access, payments are made by UPI or bank transfer to the account shown on our invoice, and every payment is recorded in the company's accounts.

7. Consumer protection

Where the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply, we follow them: clear prices before payment, a published refund policy, and a Grievance Officer who acknowledges complaints within 48 hours and resolves them within one month.

8. Where data is stored

Our database and servers are in Singapore, and some services we use are in the United States and the European Union. Section 6 of our Privacy Policy explains this.
