WhatsApp Add-On Terms

These terms apply only to businesses that switch on the WhatsApp add-on. They form part of our Terms & Conditions, which apply to everything these terms do not cover, including the limits on liability and how disputes are resolved.

The add-on is software. It connects your WhatsApp Business account to Quackzo so that you can send your guests three kinds of message: a booking confirmation, an arrival message and their bill. Each kind stays off until you switch it on.

Meta delivers the messages, not Quackzo. We do not sell WhatsApp messaging and do not guarantee that any message will be delivered.

Your WhatsApp Business account, phone number and message templates belong to you. You accept Meta's own terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, and you pay Meta directly for messages, with your own payment method.

Decisions Meta makes about your account, such as charges, price changes, rejected templates, quality ratings, sending limits, restrictions or suspension, are between you and Meta. We are not responsible for them.

Before messages can be sent, you must verify your business with Meta, add a payment method and get your templates approved. Until that is done the add-on cannot send messages. That is not a fault in Quackzo and is not a ground for a refund.

Only messages about a stay the guest is part of: the booking confirmation, the arrival message and the bill. Never marketing or promotional content of any kind.

If Meta treats a template you wrote as marketing, that is your responsibility, including any extra charge.

Meta requires a guest's agreement before you message them, and the DPDP Act requires a lawful basis. So when you take a guest's phone number, you must tell them that their booking confirmation, arrival message and bill will come on WhatsApp from your business (Quackzo shows the line to read out), and tick the box if the guest says no. Quackzo will not message a guest marked as having said no.

You promise that, for every guest you message, you have given this notice and have the agreement and lawful basis that the law and Meta require.

You set a daily limit on messages (50 unless you change it). Every message sent with your account's access keys, whether by your staff or by anyone who got the keys from you, is your responsibility, as is what Meta charges for it. Quackzo cannot see your Meta balance or bill, so check them in Meta's billing settings.

If messages are sent because of a fault in Quackzo's own software, rather than anything done with your access keys, tell us within 7 days. We will pay you back what Meta charged for those messages, and this counts towards the limit in section 16 of our Terms & Conditions.

For each message we send Meta the guest's name and phone number and the details the message needs, such as stay dates, invoice number and amount. For a bill, we upload the bill to Meta as a PDF file, never as a public link. Meta stores and processes this under its own terms, outside India.

We keep a history of messages sent for 1 year. Your access keys are stored encrypted, are never sent to the browser, and can be revoked by you in Meta at any time.

You can always print a bill, or share it by hand from Quackzo, instead.

Any fee for the add-on is set out in your quotation or plan. It pays for the software only and is separate from what Meta charges you.

You may switch the add-on off at any time, in Quackzo or by revoking our access in Meta. We may suspend it if it is misused or if Meta requires us to. When it ends we stop sending; your WhatsApp account, number and templates stay yours, and your Quackzo plan continues.

We may change or withdraw the add-on on 30 days' notice, or sooner if Meta changes or withdraws its platform.
